TempoShift exists because the team behind it kept losing time-off requests in Slack threads and rebuilding the same spreadsheet at every company we joined. So we built the tool we wished existed.
Workforce ops shouldn't be a job. The reason approvals pile up isn't that managers are lazy — it's that the tools force them to context-switch between Slack, email, a shared inbox, and a spreadsheet just to do a simple "yes" or "no."
We think the best management tools disappear. They take a thing that used to require five steps and make it take two taps. They build the audit trail for you so you don't have to think about it. They route requests to the right person automatically, so no one has to remember who approves what this month.
That's what we're building.
We're a small, fully-remote team distributed across four time zones. We ship every weekday. Customer-facing changes go through a feature flag system so we can roll back without redeploying.
Our support team is the same team that builds the product. We think this is the only sustainable way to build software for managers.
